For those wanting to know how this book applies to developing new applications... my answer would be "very well". Doing most of your homework before launching an application to determine the most suitable market will pay huge returns. I've applied Blue Ocean Strategy principles to many of my clients in delivering on their multi-million dollar growth strategies. It is certainly an enjoyable and applicable read. Cheers...
