About Me
I later decided to major in Electrical System Engineering, and I graduated in 2003 from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
In the summer of 2004, after returning to my home city of Chihuahua, I started my company Intelectix to do quality custom software development for local clients. For the last 5 years of so Intelectix has been growing steadily and providing custom software solutions for a variety of clients. Some of Intelectix’s clients use our software in lands as far away as Colombia and Peru.
In the summer of 2008 I partnered with a friend to start Tecnologías y Diseños Computacionales (TDC for short). Intelectix’s customers often asked for simpler technical support (problems with printers, viruses, spyware, reformats, and so on), and either I did it for free or referred them to somewhere else. So, after seeing the evident need, I contacted a friend and started this joint venture.
Away from computers, I have a passion for golf, which I have played since my childhood. Although at some point I played at a competitive level (I was a +2 handicap at one point), first school and later work have not given me as much free time as I wish. Still, I enjoy playing two or three rounds of golf a month.
I also have a big interest in cars. I mainly like European sport cars (such as Audi, Porsche, BMW or Ferrari), and follow very closely the Formula 1 season. Since most races are around midday in Europe or Asia and I live in Mexico, I usually have to set an alarm clock to wake up at 5 o 6 am on Sundays after just a couple hours of sleep. Yes, I am that much a fan!
This blog started with the idea to give back to the community something of what I have learned. I have learned so much from other people online that I think it is time to give something in return. Sometimes I will post here very often, other times the posts will be scarcer, but there is always going to be something up here.
